I am a declared junk food lover and if there is one thing that makes me crazy about the junk food it's the unnecesary food mixes, like papapletos. The perfect way to get better a really good food like completos is adding some good french fries. Or the sopaipletos, a good idea of mixing two excelent creations of junk food sellers, the sopaipilla and the completos.

I like the crazy food mixes because it's a way to show how the food can be an absurd, a completely arbitrary selection, a random way to mash up flavors and anyway it can work! Because the food is arbitrary, there are infinite possibilities and there will always be someone who likes any combination.

I have always thought that life is absurd because existence is a blink in the history of the universe, and nothing we do really matters, so let's put some chocolate chips on chocolate. I think the culinary discipline is ridiculous because food doesn't have any meaning at all, it's only for eating. Food ends when you eat it and it doesn't go beyond than that, and considering this, food mixes are sort of a satire of culinary arts, because despite being apparently an awful idea, people accept them and they become popular.
